Dergview Reserves... 3
NEW signings Gary McHugh and Jordan Dennison played a lead role as the Reserves twice came from behind to maintain their interest in the Division Two promotion race. McHugh netted twice, including a 92nd minute equaliser, while Dennison came off the bench to help the visitors turn the tide.
In truth, a point probably isn't much good to either side. A share of the spoils means Marty Buchanan's side missed the opportunity to put pressure on the top two while the 'Bridge would have been looking for maximum points to put some clear water between themselves and those teams harboured in the relegation zone.
Mind you it was the home side who looked well placed for a fourth win of the season after an hour of this contest at the Castle Park Centre.
A side-footed finish by recent signing Shane Ingram gave the home side a half-time lead before Warren Murphy doubled the advantage with a thunderous 25 yard shot that flew high into Alan Buchanan's top right.
But the visitors hit back with some authority. McHugh swooped on a loose ball to hammer home before the same player combined with Dennison to prise open the door for Graham Lecky to make it 2-2.
At this stage the Darragh Park second string looked favourites to go on and win the game outright but with just three minutes remaining Murphy hammered home a carbon copy second to seemingly secure the points.
However the north Tyrone men refused to raise the white flag and deep in stoppage-time McHugh arrived right on cue to head home a Lecky corner kick.
